Vulcan’s metallurgy lab ensures superior service in the field by troubleshooting potential issues and enabling continual improvement. This includes testing hardness, impact resistance, tensile strength, flexural testing, bend testing, abrasion, corrosion resistance, shear and other properties. All led by a full-time PhD material scientist dedicated to ensuring that Vulcan customers get more from their products.
